Let God Use You
From Surrender to Sent Ones

By James W. Goll

“Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar and he touched my mouth with it, ans said: ‘Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, and you sin purged.’ Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I! Send me.’”
Isaiah 6:6-8 NKJV

Dear Friends,

This is James W. Goll with your monthly Global Prayer Storm Podcast message and what a significant time it is! We’re building toward our annual Day to Pray for the Prophets, taking place Friday, July 18th, and this GPS podcast episode is designed to help prepare your heart. The theme I’m carrying this month is simple, but weighty: Let God Use You – From Surrender to Sent Ones. We draw this message straight from Isaiah 6:6–8.

Isaiah had already been functioning in his prophetic call. But in this encounter, he is freshly convicted, cleansed, and commissioned, not only for his own sake, but to stand in the gap for an entire generation. That is the invitation before you right now.

Are You Ready for the Fire on the Altar?

We’ve all had moments where we “went” in zeal before we were truly “sent.” But when the fire of God touches your lips, when personal surrender meets God’s commissioning, a new level of authority comes. And with that comes a new level of responsibility.

Let God take you from:

  • Surrender → Cleansing
  • Conviction → Commissioning
  • Giftedness → Maturity

Stewarding the Prophetic Well

In this episode, I also unpack 7 key principles of how to walk wisely with the prophetic gift. Whether you’re called to full-time ministry, leadership, or simply living out your faith at home or in the marketplace, these apply to you.

Here’s just a sample:

1. Learn to overcome past wounds and offenses.
2. Don’t speak every word you receive – timing and tone matter.
3. Honor authority and house protocols – even when they differ.
4. Know your sphere of influence – and stay faithful in it.

Friends, we are not only cultivating gifts; we’re cultivating hearts that carry the presence and wisdom of God with maturity.

Together, we will lift up the prophets and the prophetic movement, creating space for the Spirit of God to speak and yes, even speak to you!

“Oh, that all of the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them,” Numbers 11:29

Will you pull away from distraction and lean into His voice?
Now is the time—from surrender to being a sent one.

P.S. If you haven’t watched last month’s episode, be sure to catch up. We’re building one layer at a time as we approach this powerful gathering. And remember to mark your calendar for July 18th,  it’s time to pray for the prophets.

Scripture Based Prayer

From Surrender to Sent Ones

Father of Glory, We come before You undone by Your holiness and drawn by Your mercy. Touch our lips with the fire from Your altar. Cleanse us, purge us, and make us vessels fit for Your purpose. Let us hear Your voice saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” And in response, may we declare, “Here am I. Send me.” As Moses said, “Would that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that You would put Your Spirit upon them!” Stir up prophetic callings and raise up a people who are marked by purity and sent in power.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
